Sange's Story

Once upon a time in the time of the Mayerling tragedy in the Austrian-Hungarian empire there was a gothic-style mansion that was known by the name of Sangendorf. There lived a highly accomplished baron, who also happened to be a passionate chess player. Due to his hobby he liked to invite neurotic philosophers to visit him, and they did visit him from time to time with their luxurious wagons.

Oh the fun and laughter that took place in these feasts! You would eat well and utter funny words. The old nanny told that it was all just a great theatre play, and in reality the company was practising spiritism. The suspicions were not entirely false, as in these feasts a cryptographic system, that was later used in the First World War, was created.

The activity started by these merry fellows continues today in Sange Coop.
