Sange's Story

Once upon a time in Napoleonic East Prussia there was - today a well-known tourist resort - a hunting lodge that was known by the name of Sangenhof. There lived a highly accomplished count, who also happened to be a passionate tin flute player. Due to his hobby he liked to invite young gentlemen to visit him, and they did visit him frequently with their black horses.

Oh the fun and laughter that took place in these meetings! You would drink great many cups of tea and make jokes. They spoke in the village that it was all just a great fraud, and in reality the company was planning a revolution. The suspicions were not entirely false, as in these meetings a cryptographic system, that was later used in the First World War, was created.

The activity started by these merry fellows continues today in Sange Coop.
